- Quarterly Training Event - Tuesday
March 15, 2005 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
- Officer Kathy McGhin from the Crime Prevention Unit will be the speaker at
this event in the Tallahassee Mall Training Annex. Please contact Bobbie
Harter at phyllis@fldfs.com.
Please register by February 7th. A minimum of 10 persons must register
with a maximum group size of 28 people. Contact Bobbie at the email
address above if you have any questions. Hope you can attend.
- Community Traffic Watch Program:
- This program, originated in June 2003, is a partnership between TPD and TCPAAA and utilizes trained volunteers to observe and report unsafe drivers and recognize those who practice safe and courteous driving. The motto of this program is “Watching Out for One Another”
- Public Information and Awareness Programs
- On October 27, 2002, we conducted a very interesting and informative seminar on Identity Theft. Due to the enthusiastic response we received, we hope to conduct future seminars on similiar issues. - Upcoming Training Offered To TCPAAA Members by TPD
- One of the benefits of TCPAAA membership is the opportunity participate in training and education programs. Look at one of our most popular events of 2003, the
PIT/spike (pursuit intervention technique) demonstration that we had on May 8, 2003.
