The 2009 Police Ball, held last June at the University Center, raised thousands of dollars for TPD programs and community outreach and was highlighted by the Tallahassee Democrat and other news media. Our tenth ball, set for May 22nd, 2010 at the University Center Club, promises to be our best yet!

Details about TCPAAA’s Annual Police Ball

Each summer, the Tallahassee Citizens’ Police Academy Alumni Association (TCPAAA) hosts its annual Police Ball.  The Police Ball is the major fundraiser of the TCPAAA, with the proceeds used exclusively to benefit Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) programs and activities of community and neighborhood outreach.

A special highlight of each Police Ball is the announcement of the winner of that year’s Walter A. McNeil Distinguished Service Award.   This special honor recognizes a TPD officer who has demonstrated extraordinary service and made a significant contribution to our community.

Other Events and Activities
